This coin is the hard-to-find Type II - mint mark variety with an elongated 'S' Mint Mark with bulbs on both ends of the 'S' Mint Mark with the top serif bulb a bit more pronounced and flatter than the bottom serif bulb.  

1999-P SBA Deep Cameo Gem Proof Dollar *** Coins *** 1999-P Susan B. Anthony Gem Proof Dollar having mirrored fields and frosty devices on both the obverse and the reverse necessary for a Deep Cameo (DCAM) designation. Very interesting in that Proof coins are nearly always struck only at the San Franciso Mint facility and thus carry the 'S' mint mark. However, this coin is one of the only time in U.S. coinage history that a Proof coin carries the 'P' mint mark for Philadelphia. This item also comes in the original U.S. Treasury Mint plastic display case with Certificate of Authenticity.
