The 1970-S Lincoln Proof Cent in this set is the much more common Large Date variety.  

1970-S Small Date U.S. Treasury Brilliant Gem Proof Set in Original Box 5 *** Coins *** Five coin set where coins have a touch of CAMEO contrast although generally are Brilliant Proofs (the Jefferson Nickel is borderline CAMEO), and the other exception is the Kennedy Half Dollar which exhibits moderate to heavy CAMEO frosting on both the obverse and reverse devices. Also, the Kennedy Half Dollar does have a vertical streak of white toning in the obverse field to the rear of JFK's head extending from the 'T' in 'LIBERTY' to the '0' in the date, while there is a tiny horizontal surface scratch in the plastic lens display approximately 1/2 inch in length near the Proof Kennedy Half Dollar at 10 o'clock. The 1970-S Proof Lincoln Cent in this set is the scarce Small Date or Level '7' variety. Still, this is nice example of a modern Proof Set containing a very difficult variety to find, much more scarce variety, than either a 1970-S Small Date Mint Set or a single 1970-S Small Date Lincoln Cent!

1981-S Type II U.S. Treasury Deep Cameo Gem Proof Set in Original Box-EXTREMELY RARE! 6 ** Coins ** KenJo Gem Coins is always buying these. Set pictured, sold in mid-2003, and we been unable to locate anymore since then UNTIL NOW. Just arrived, and it is sweet! All six coins are no-doubt-it Type II mint marks with flat top serifs on the mint marks and bulbs on both ends of the 'S' on each and every coin's mint mark in this set. This new arrival has minimal distractions with very faint Proof haze in the fields on the Roosevelt Dime and on the reverse of the Susan B. Anthony Dollar. Very slight natural toning enhances the beauty of this set. We are restricted to eight total pictures on our website. The mint returned to the larger style rectangular holder in 1983 and brought back the blue outside box. This style lens display proved to be constructed much better than its predecessors as most sets from 1983-S have coins with very few, if any noticeable distractions such as toning or Proof haze.

The mint introduced a new purple outside box style Proof Set in 1984. This style lens display proved to be constructed better than its black box predecessors as most sets from this date have coins with few distraction, pretty much limited to haze or toning near the rims of the coins.
