Proof Sets - Silver - Early Boxed Sets (1950 to 1955)
When we are fortunate to acquire early Proof Sets, they do not stick around very long. NOTE: We charge actual cost of S/H/I on Proof Sets, Mint Sets and other bulk items. If you order items from this category, ACTUAL S/H/I will be recalculated when we send you an order acknowledgment. This means the amount shown in your shopping cart when you check-out will need to be manually adjusted by us and will usually be more than the system generated S/H/I amount shown at checkout.

1953 U.S. Treasury Brilliant Gem Boxed Proof Set in Original Cello and Box *** 5 Coins *** Coins pretty much tone-free and spot-free with the Cent being a lustrous RED blazer. The set has the original cellophane, tissue paper and staple holding the cello together, and HAS the original box. The cello is brittle on the coins and has broken where the Nickel can be removed as it was to take the picture posted hereon. All coins would grade Gem Proof to Superb Gem Proof (PR65 to PR68). Tough to find in such pristine condition.
