Our earlier Proof Cents from 1968-S through about 1977-S or 1978-S are not quite as nice as the later ones that grade PR67 or better; these earlier dates are generally are in the PR65 / PR66 range usually having a minor distraction or two. Nothing too ugly, but these older Lincoln Proof dates are virtually impossible to find without some minor toning or a tiny fleck or two since the Proof Sets from this period which the coins came from, were generally very poorly sealed allowing air to get to the coins. |
