Five coin set where coins have a touch of CAMEO contrast although generally are Brilliant Proofs (the Jefferson Nickel is borderline CAMEO), and the other exception is the Kennedy Half Dollar which exhibits moderate to heavy CAMEO frosting on both the obverse and reverse devices. Also, the Kennedy Half Dollar has a streak of white toning in the obverse field and near the rim near the 'Y' in 'LIBERTY', while the Cent has a touch of light Proof haze in the obverse fields which is typical for Proof Sets from the late 1960's and early 1970's. The 1970-S Proof Lincoln Cent in this set is the scarce Small Date or Level '7' variety. |
