Nice lustrous, pretty much toning-free Choice About Uncirculated (AU55/AU58) to Uncirculated (MS61/MS62) coin from a very difficult date since there were no Mint Sets issued during 1982 or 1983 and VERY FEW original rolls survived.

| We have several examples like this one, that exhibit a pancake flat strike typical of this date or may have a few too many bag marks or field disturbances to grade above MS61/MS62. For someone looking to save a little money versus spending over 30 bucks for a more technically sound coin, this would fill a very elusive hole in an Uncirculated set of Washington Quarters at less than half the cost. |
