Coin is a high end very lightly circulated example that should grade About Uncirculated (AU50) to Choice About Uncirculated (AU53/AU55). The coin is a nice fully original example (no evidence of cleaning or other monkey business) of the interesting one-year sub-type having the designer's initials Victor David Brenner (V.D.B.) located on the reverse inside the rim at 6 o'clock. The coin exhibits a nice CHOCOLATE BROWN patina with a trace of RED & BROWN on the reverse near the rim, has the majority of its mint luster remaining, and is priced to sell at current dealer wholesale. |
