Collender table this is the rack you go to have. This is cue rack was manufactured by the HW Collender Company before he had ventured into the Partnership with Phelan or Brunswick. This rack dates to around the late 1860's early 1870's. A very excellent example of the draftsmanship that was displayed in billiard accessories. The Rack measures at the tallest point 72" and is 39" wide and holds 14 cues. Make this cue rack the center of your billird room. The rack is oak and is the original finish and condition. The area where the name is is a piece of maple burl or burl ash veneer with the words HW Collender New York stenciled in Black. The veneer for the label isn't in perfect condition as you can see in the photos it has lifted on the edges are slightly bubbled but given the age of the piece it it is still in excellent original condition. This rack is carved and nicely detailed with the wooden rosettes and fine details. An Extremeley hard to find piece. |
