952881955
Navajo St Silver Double Turquoise Bracelet A brand new design direct from Gallup! Its not often you find two turquoise stones of this size and quality and as much intricate pure sterling silver overlay in a bracelet selling at this price. Despite the term overlay, this isnt costume jewelry -- its sterling and turquoise. With fine jewelry, overlay refers to a technique (NOT a coating) of creating multiple layers of sterling silver design elements such as leaf, flower, raindrop beads, thunder symbols and rope designs you can see in the photos. Each of these elements is created from a layer sterling silver and then bonded first to the bezel and then on top of each other to create a true three dimensional effect that rises 3/8ths from the bracelets bezel. This bracelet features two gorgeous Kingman robins egg blue to blue green turquoise with lacy, golden brown matrices. It measures 1½ across, tapers to 3/16ths at both ends, had an interior measurement of 5¼, and an adjustable opening gap of 1 and 1/8th. If your wrist is 6¼ to 7 in circumference, this will fit with little or no adjustment. Navajo artist Albert Martinez created this bracelet, and his script hallmark and sterling stamp are on the back. This is a new rather than a previously owned item and comes with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing its Native American origin

Navajo Ster Silver Turquoise Bracelet Navajo artist Dreama Martinez has created one of those bracelets (an original that she designed herself!) that looks more expensive that it is. It features an old Chinese robins egg and blue green (mostly blue) turquoise stone with a fine, almost lace-like matrix crowned by four large, multi-layered leaves (feathers), lightning symbols, a flower, and raindrop beads -- a perfect representation of the growing season and the connection among the natural elements! This multi-layered effect -- four layers here -- is called overlay. In costume jewelry, overlay typically means a thin coating of either gold or silver. But in fine jewelry, overlay refers to a technique of bonding multiple design elements such as the four the leaves, for example, one top of each other to create the nice three dimensional effect you can see with this bracelet. A hand made sterling silver twisted rope overlay surrounds the stone. Dreama made this bracelet so that its extremely comfortable to wear in the summer with its sturdy yet airy three wire construction. The bracelet measures 1¾ across and tapers to 3/8ths at both ends. It has an interior measurement of 5¾ and an opening gap of 1¼. If your wrist is 6¾ to 7¼ in circumference, this should fit with little or no gentle adjustment. Dreama Martinezs hallmark initial (M) and sterling stamp are on the back. This is a new rather than a previously owned item and comes with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing its Native American origin.

W DENETDALE S/S BLUE Turquoise Brac. This is an extra special bracelet. Interestingly I was told that the turquoise came from the Damale Mines when I first purchased it. I have sinced been contacted by a family member of the owner of the Damale mines and was told that it wasn't from their mine at all. Leaves me wondering what kind it really is. I've read "The Gem of the Centuries" and about half of the descriptions of stones from different mines fit this bracelet. If you know, please let me know!

This bracelet was made by famous Navajo silversmith Will Denetdale. The stone is true robins egg blue with a lacy honey gold and copper brown matrix, is 1¼ by 1 and 1/16th, and is set in a beautiful, hand made shadowboxed bezel surrounded by a traditional hand twisted sterling silver rope overlay and a gracefully scalloped edges with hand stamped sunray designs within each scallop. The bezel is mounted on a heavy and thick 3 wire bracelet frame with each of the wires measuring ¼ in width. At its widest point in the center, the bracelet is 1 and 13/16ths wide and tapers to 5/8ths at both shanks. It has an inside measurement of 6 with an adjustable opening gap of 1making it suitable for those who wrists is 6¾ to 7½in circumference. Will Denetdales hallmark (W. Denetdale) and sterling stamp are on the back.

Gaspeite Parure Gaspeite is considered a rare mineral, being found in only a few localities, but it is becoming a popular mineral in the semi-precious stone markets especially with Native Americans. It is being used as a cabochon in sterling silver jewelry with such notable minerals and material as turquoise, malachite, azurite, onyx and coral. Gaspeite's light green, almost apple green color is quite unique and not hard to mistake. Carved material is generally homogenous, but it may contain portions of its brownish host rock which may give it a distinctive character. Gaspeite is named for its type locality of Gaspe' Peninsula, Lemieux Township, Gaspe'-ouest County, Quebec, Canada, but the best material of late is coming from North of Perth, Australia.
This is a beautiful apple green gaspeite nugget sterling silver bracelet handmade by Navajo Indian Evelyn Dubois. The nuggets are natural and come from Australia. The measurement of the sterling silver cuff inside is a touch over 6 3/4 inches including the gap. It is 1 inch wide.
Included with this gorgeous bracelet is a handmade pendant and earring set crafted by by Navajo Evelyn Dubois. The pendant which measures 1 1/2" is on a sterling silver 24" chain. The earrings are 1 inch.

955310255
Navajo Sterling Silver Lapis Lazuli Bracelet For the past several years, top quality lapis lazuli stones have been difficult for Native American artists to find. ThatÂs because the worldÂs best lapis comes from Afghanistan. Exports have resumed once again in small quantities. This is a beautiful sterling silver cobalt blue lapis bracelet. It has open five wire construction that gracefully melds into a cuff at both shanks. The stone measures 1 and 3/16ths by 15/16ths, and you can see the sparkling golden pyrite flecks and matrices (pyrite is foolÂs gold) from virtually any angle though they may not be evident in the photographs. ItÂs set in a custom made shadowbox bezel surrounded by a hand made sterling silver twisted rope overlay. In the center, this bracelet measures 1 and 5/8ths in width tapering to 5/8ths at both shanks. It has an inside measurement of 5 and 3/8ths with an adjustable opening gap of 1¼ making it suitable for wrists that are 6½ to 7 in circumference with little no careful adjustment of the opening.
