Loetz 6 lobe green oilspot on green vase This 5 1/4' tall Loetz vase in the classic combo of green oilspotting over green glass was the same as the line designed by English designer Christopher Dresser in the Art Nouveau period. I have a vase in my collection with this same coloration which matches the one I saw in person which was bought from Adolph Bing's Paris shop and donated to the Paris Decorative Arts Museum in 1905. Six lobes and a polished pontil base make this a great piece of Bohemian art glass. Excellent condition. Add it to your art glass or Loetz collection today.

Czech glass inch white mottled vase Czech glass 8.5 inch white mottled oil spot vase. I have another example of this vase in my collection. What is unusual is the mottled base glass with oilspotting on the outer layer. Cased in white, this classical urn shape suggests Loetz, though I can't be certain. It is unsigned. I have never seen another of the later furnace decorated pieces from the Deco period with oilspotting, so this is very different. Excellent condition.

498

Loetz 8.5" 4 layer cased indent overlay vase Loetz 8.5' 4 layer cased indented overlay vase. This vase has a great combo of glass and surface treatment. First it is cased glass, cased with a light layer of opalescent white glass giving piece a soft effect. The surface is irridized with ruby oilspotting near the base. 5 overlay chevrons accentuate the piece as does the indented bottom. Produced in the 1900-1910 time period most likely by Rindskopf or Kralik if not Loetz. A classic example of Bohemian glass. Unsigned. Bottom is fully irridized as is typical with pieces which were snapped off punty rod and mold blown. This vase is in excellent shape, not even minor rim roughness.

2392

Loetz 5 " high x 5 " wide green rib Loetz 5 inch high x 5 inch wide green ribbed vase. Lovely! Produced by Loetz in the 1905-1915 era, this splendid example of oilspot technique has a base color of clear glass, upon which the oilspotting was applied. What is interesting is the combination of the ribbed surface and the oilspotting. A very typical Loetz piece from the turn of the century which would look great with the Arts & Crafts look.

The vase measures 5.5 inches h and 5 inches wide at its widest point of the neck. The ribbing of the mold extends all the way to the bottom of the piece, which has a polished pontil. It would make a great addition to your Bohemian art glass collection. No chips, flakes, crazing or cracks.

Add it to your Loetz glass or Bohemian collection today!
