This Early American Pattern glass example of Riverside Glass of Wellsburg, West Virginia is known as the Empress pattern, circa 1898. This toothpick can be seen as plate 103 on page 22 of Heacock's A-Z book. It is in excellent condition with excellent gold (see close-up pics). In the 2004 price guide by the National Toothpick Holder Collector Society (NTHCS), it is now valued at $240. Buy it for less than that here now.
I am a long time member and past President (1988) of the National Toothpick Holder Collectors Club. I guarantee the authenticity of this TP. For more info on toothpick holders as a great collectible, visit the National Toothpick Holder Collectors Society web page at (www.nthcs.org) |
