This Haeger #2111 ashtray is from a line designed in the 1970s by Haeger main desinger Alrun Guest, whose glazes such as Orange Peel and Lemon Peel are now attracting serious collector attention. A tall vase from this line is shown on p. 12 of the Paradis 'House of Haeger' book. The 2 rest ashtray has an irregularly shaped biormorphic circular appearance. The width is 8 3/4'. It carried the standard Haeger signature. It has great bands of color on a white speckled background. Think Austin Powers, baby! Excellent condition. Add it to your Royal Haeger or Mid Century Pottery collection today. |
