This great example of Art Deco workmanship was produced by the Richard Hudnut company and called Le Debut. Done is goldtone with a black enamel cover, it still has not only its original contents of rouge and puff, but also some of the face powder and its puff. The back has some wear but overall it's in great shape. Shown in Fig. 132 on page 149 of Gerson's 1989 Ladies' Compact book. |
