Produced by Vermont Mid-Century studio potter Stanley Ballard, a student of Glidden Parker at Alfred University in the 1940s who worked in the Burlington area, this signed #19 vase in white is the most common of his shapes available to collectors. It stands 5.5 inches tall and is 5 inches wide at the top. This is from the middle period of production as it has the chocolate brown underglaze bottom rim band. It has a penciled in price of either $1.95 or $2.95 on the bottom but it is hard to read. Excellent condition. |
