Made by the Purinton Pottery Company of PA for the Esmond Company, a distributor in the 1940s and 1950s, this Apple motif Lazy Susan is large and stunning. Though I do not have the original wood base upon which the side inserts and middle insert sat, if you do, well, here's your chance to put together the set at a very reasonable price.
The middle round insert decorated with the Apple pattern is in excellent condition. Two of the four side inserts are in excellent condition. One has a small chip on the bottom where it rests on the wood base and one has a very large chip near the rim by the red decoration. So, what you see is what you get. If you need a fill in insert or the center insert, here's your chance to purchase. If you want to buy only the three perfect pieces, I will be happy to trash the damaged ones. The shipping would be less in that case. You decide. |
