Signed #546 and the words USA, this 5" vase is simply spectacular. The glaze features deep red and blue overtones. Designed by Royal Hickman and made at this TN plant, this classically shaped vase shows to full advantage the subtlties of the Petty Crystal glaze. In excellent condition. There is a glaze crack which was glazed over on the foot. It is a great example of Mid-Century pottery.
