Produced by Vermont Mid-Century studio potter Stanley Ballard, a student of Glidden Parker at Alfred University in the 1940s who worked in the Burlington area, this #10 tapered vase stands 11 inches tall and is the largest in the series of 5 vases in this tapered form. It is done in Ballard's white glaze and is from his later production period. In excellent condition, it is an excellent starter piece for a Ballard collector. Add it to your American Art Pottery collection today. |
