Produced by Vermont Mid-Century studio potter Stanley Ballard, a student of Glidden Parker at Alfred University in the 1940s who worked in the Burlington area, this Ballard white mottled #91 4 3/4 inch round vase is in excellent condition. The graduated stepped base is very unusual for Ballard . I think this shape is from his later studio period. |
