Produced by Vermont Mid-Century studio potter Stanley Ballard, a student of Glidden Parker at Alfred University in the 1940s who worked in the Burlington area, this Ballard #41 vase stands 3 1/4 inches tall x 2 7/8 inches wide. It is a standard shape in a standard olive green glaze. It is from the middle period of production with the characteristic chocolate brown band at the foot. Signed with the incised S. Ballard Vermont signature. A neat little piece and a great pot for your African violet. Add it to your collection today. It is in excellent condition. |
