Manufacturer: Stanley Ballard, Vermont Produced by Vermont Mid-Century studio potter Stanley Ballard, a student of Glidden Parker at Alfred University in the 1940s who worked in the Burlington area, this is a standard shape and color for Ballard and carries the shape number 10. It is a huge vase made for a large bunch of flowers! The glaze is a turquoise blue glaze which is speckled and shows some of the chocolate brown underglaze. It is from his middle period.
