Manufacturer: Noritake China Company This Noritake Art Deco stands 6 1/4 inches tall. It is a fairly common and simply Noritake design which maximizes the abstract and stylized floral design of three blue blossoms into a checkered pattern which is created by simple black lines on a slight yellow luster background. The standard tan luster is at the top rim which is trimmed in black.
It is signed with the green wreath mark putting it in the transtition period between older Nippon and the 1925-1931 red wreath mark period. I would think it was from the 1920-1925 period as the blossoms are more Art Deco than done in a realistic manner.
There is some paint loss on each of the flowers (see pics), Strangely, it is only from the green paint on the leaves as the blues are fine. All in all, though not in perfect condition, it's a very usable and practical piece of Noritake you can use every day for some fresh flowers or silk flowers. Add it to your collection today.
