Produced by Vermont Mid-Century studio potter Stanley Ballard, a student of Glidden Parker at Alfred University in the 1940s who worked in the Burlington area, , this Ballard #49 6 1/2' light turquoise blue vase has great color and is one of few in this particular shade. It is from the later period of production as it does not have the chocolate underglaze rim band at the bottom. Excellent condition. It is a really pretty piece.
