Part of the Pyrex Black Snowflake line which debuted in 1957 according to Mauzy's Pyrex book on page 131, this casserole is in the harder to find Charcoal color. The Snowflake pattern was also made with white Snowflakes on blue. the bottom of the casserole stands about two inches tall. It is marked #28. The divided clear glass cover is original but the covers were interchangeable it seems. The black paint is in excellent condition on this one. A great funky and collectibles 1950s pattern by Pyrex. |
