These vintage food trays are fabulous for a picnic or outdoor buffet. Just hand them out and watch the fun begin. Because they are meant for commercial or industrial use, they come out of the dishwasher sparkling!
Each tray measures 10 inches wide by 14 inches long. They are stackable and easy to store.
This lot is for a pair of Texas Ware #146 speckled trays in excellent vintage condition. The main shade of one tray is a deep and lustrous avocado green with primary inclusions of white and red and secondary inclusions of teal and daffodil yellow. The second tray is a deep and lustrous daffodil yellow with primary inclusions of red and chocolate brown and secondary inclusions of chartreuse and white. Each tray is in very good vintage condition. It has normal vintage wear of some light knife marks in the indented areas but retains a good glossy finish in the interior. Gorgeous glossy finish on the outside. FREE of chips, cracks, burns OR discoloration. You will NOT be disappointed!!
Recently one has seen a Texas Ware vintage speckled Melmac bowl on the counter of Rachael Ray's TV kitchen. In fact, in late 2007, Food Network is now having produced and marketing a "Garbage Bowl" in a deep pumpkin color under the Rachael Ray name. |
