Made by the Federal Glass Company most likely in the 1960s or 1970s, this milk glass mug was fired with a black outer color to highlight the gold lettering on the mug.
It stands 3 3/4 inches tall x 2 3/4 inches wide at the top. On one side is the scorpion with the Zodiac symbol. On the other side is a panel with the dates October 23 - November 21. There is also a list of items associated with this sign.
The bottom has the capital F in a shield mark with the words HEAT PROOF above it and the words USA below with the shape number 48.
