This Taylor & Ng mottled surface bamboo handle teapot was designed by San Francisco potter and enamelist Win Ng and his partner in their consumer goods business.
I would estimate that the teapot holds 6 cups. The surface is a high gloss glaze, perhaps even a crystal glaze over a mottled underglaze. The handle is bamboo with wrapped bamboo accents. On the bottom it has a paper label which states simply Taylor & Ng Japan.
It is in excellent condition with no damage visible. The top has no damage and closes tightly.
