The Culver Glass company began in Brooklyn, New York in 1939, founded by Irving Rothenberg. Culver Glass features real 22-karat gold decoration, used effusively and magnificently especially from the late 1950s on through the 1960s.
This cool martini pitcher stands 10 1/2 inches tall and is 2 7/8 inches across the top and 2 7/8 inches across the bottom. The decoration is one main panel. A seven inch tall black rectangle features a gold star or snowflake shape with gold starburst behind it. The other panel is the same starbursts on clear glass. It is in excellent vintage condition.
