Circa: 1950-1960
Manufacturer: David Douglas, Manitowoc, WI

This marked in gold David Douglas FLAMEWARE coffee carafe was all the rage in the late 1950s. This is the 8 cup / 40 ounce size. They were sold with candle warmers or wire racks to be used with an electric range. As advertised this was the MODERN way to serve a warm cup of coffee. The glassware used in it is durable and resistant to temparature, hot or cold. They are an up-and-coming collector's item, so get yours today at a reasonable price. The gold is in incredible shape on this carafe as is the black plastic lid and handle. It is a practical yet funky and retro serving piece ready for your home today.

Add it to your midcentury glassware collection today.
