H.R.H. Queen Elizabeth's Coronation Sovenir Biscuit Tin

This vintage Gray Dunn Biscuit Tin created this tribute to the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

Beautifully designed with Queen Elizabeth on the front and her husband, Duke of Edinburgh on the back.

Lid is attached with two hinges.
Elongated octagonal shaped.
Lid is well fitted and fastens securely.

The lid reads:
Coronation Souvenir
June 1953

The Gray Dunn tin is a product of Scotland, but it was made in Great Britian.

There is some paint loss from wear and minor scratches. When the lid is open, there is paint loss on the front rim where the lid slides against the rim. There is a pin size dent on the right side. Minor discoloration on bottom and a very small area on lid. See photos

This vintage piece does show signs of wear; such as surface scratches, a couple of dings and a some small spots of color loss. Such imperfections only add to its personality and individuality.
