Royal Winton Grimwades Art Deco Candy Dish

This is a delightfully stepped rectangular shaped dish from the Art Deco period. This particular dish dates from the late 1930s.

Soft pink/pearl floral design against a gray back ground with a veil of lace over the top. Truly a stunning and unusual combination.

Trimmed in gold

Outer dish is a beautiful iridescent pearl.

Maker's stamp is on bottom of dish.

This delightful dragon is reading a book printed in runes, one of his self-taught languages...


Some of the early figurines that are part of the Pocket Dragon line were not created by Real Musgrave. They are all from the very early days of the Liliput Lane Land of Legend line. Self Taught was created by H. Henriksen. He also did Special Friends.

These dragons were only sent to a few early members of the collector's fellowship (pre-collector's club).

From 1991 these were no longer distributed and called 'mistakes'.
