Breakthru is a unique, double-strategy game that sets two players to plotting naval-like maneuvers in an attempt to win the battle - by evasion or capture! One player commands a Silver Fleet of twenty ships - the other is in command of a Gold Fleet which has one large Flagship and twelve escorts. To gain the victory, the commander of the Silver Fleet must successfully blockade, outwit and out-maneuver the Gold Fleet's escorts - and capture the Flagship! The Gold Fleet's commander, employing shrewd and aggressive tactics, attempts to breakthru the enemy blockade and escort his Flagship to safety - and victory!
