This is such an unusal doll item. She is a country doll, Normandy. I think she is made of paper mache not composition but I would not swear to it. I have 2 of them for sale items dot003 and dot004. Be sure to look at each. The doll, clothing and candy box are in very good condition. The dress is blue velvet trimmed in silver/metallic thread. Beautiful. It is a brocade bottom on the dress. The bodice is lace, the head piece is lace and hanging ribbons. Under the dress is the candy box. The body is cloth and stuffed with excelior. Ca: 1940's. I've never seen one before...have you.
