This Noritake Art Deco 5 1/4' lemon server has a gold handle with some wear to the gold and a very interesting design. Highly stylized, the orange tulip shape, black/orange hyacinth, black and yellow leaves and the purple blue blossom combine with the mint green outer band to make it a very pleasing Deco combo!

This Noritake Art Deco 6 1/2' wide footed compote is a good example of how wide was the inspiration for some of Noritake's decorators. This piece is done is the style of many of the English pieces of the time. The color palette of oranges, yellow, purples will be familiar to collectors of Carlton for example.
In excellent shape, this piece would look lovely with some hard candy or bonbons on it, nestled next to some Chintz!

This cute little perfectly Art Deco piece of Noritake is most likely a portable individual ashtray. The shape is shown as A.171 on p. 47 of Spain's third book. I think the decoration of this tan luster ashtray is even nicer.
The ashtray measures 3' tall and stands 1' tall. The wide sloping rim has a great checker pattern on it, done in black, white and blue. It is in excellent condition and carries the red wreath mark. Add it to your collection today.

Produced by Vermont Mid-Century studio potter Stanley Ballard, a student of Glidden Parker at Alfred University in the 1940s who worked in the Burlington area, this Ballard #20 shape vase has a signature but no incised number. It is done is a blue/gray glaze with heavy mottling. From Ballard's middle period of production. Excellent condition.
This 7 inch wide Noritake Art Deco bowl has a pleasing simplicity which appeals to me. Although the center is white, the rim is bursting with action. Gold dots on a black band for the background for the 4 pink prunis blossom cartouches. I like the light blue and gold border band which separates the cream color area from the black band. A very delicate example of early Art Deco as there is a green wreath mark on this piece. In excellent condition, add it to your Noritake collection today.

This Noritake Deco VP 771 motif griffin intact 5" three piece syrup set is wild! It's exact design is shown on p. 130 of Van Patten Second Series as Plate #771. The syrup set shape is found on p. 146 on Spain I as C.108. Featuring vibrant yellow, rust red, bright blue, purple and green, this is probably inspired by a European style, either Italian or Gouda. See the wares of Deruta for comparable items. There is a also a stylized "fleur-de-lis" in the center of the plate, which is flanked by two mythological griffin type birds. Red wreath mark. The underplate is unsigned as was typical with these multi-piece sets. This is also the part of the set which is often missing. All pieces are in excellent condition.

Produced by Vermont Mid-Century studio potter Stanley Ballard, a student of Glidden Parker at Alfred University in the 1940s who worked in the Burlington area, this unusual decorated #19 vase carried the standard incised Ballard signature and the original price in pencil of $2.50.
It measures 5 1/2" tall. The design on the front of the vase is of mountains and pine trees done in a dark blue glaze. The rim of the vase has also been traced over in the same blue glaze color, giving it an almost violet effect. The back is plain. This is the only item I have yet seen with this decoration. Excellent condition

This triangular shaped bowl measures a little over 7 inches in diameter. It features 3 cut out handles and a bank of green luster with black rim. The central area of the plate has a mother-of-pearl luster background. A bold iris like purple and blue abstract blossom is in the lower half with a 4 petal orange tulip flower coming up from behind. Notice the tension between the asymmetrical tulip and leaves and the symmetrical orange and yellow bands at the bottom. Marked with the red cherry blossom mark, it is a very nice piece of Noritake's artistry from the 1921-1935 time period. It is in excellent condition.

This tin carried a black 312 Corona 3 A R ribbon. There is some discoloration on the lower left hand corner from sticker residue, but I have not cleaned it. I will leave that to an expert collector.

This stunning vase is a product of the Bellini factory. The father started it in Lastra a Signa. When he passed, his son Arrigo and daughter Gioconda split the factory into two parts. Currently the grandaugher Sara is still involved in ceramics in a small factory. Arrigo Bellini worked and produced his ware in Montespertoli, about 10 minutes outside of Florence, Italy.
Signed Bellini, this vase is most likely from the 1960-1970 period and was made by Arrigo Bellini. Three different metallic luster surfaces in a very geometric pattern form the decoration on this stunning vase.
