Purpose
This is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to promote interest in and appreciation of apple parers. Members live in the United States, Canada, and Turkey.
Conventions
Convetions are held biennially. At these conventions new officers are elected and the members display their treasures. Unique parers are demonstrated, and a panel of judges picks the rarer and most unusual parers and distributes ribbons.The convention winds up with an auction which members auction their duplicate parers.
Newsletter
Newsletters are printed quarterly. The newsletter contains informative articles, lists of the parers members have for sale or trade, and other items of interest to apple parer collectors. A list of the membership is sent to each member along with the newsletter in the second quarter of the year.
Membership
Any person who collects apple parers may become a member by paying $15.00 to the secretary/treasurer of the organization. Print out an application and send it along with member ship dues to:
