The Art Deco Society Northwest is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and education of all aspects of the Art Deco period. Our goal is to increase awareness, appreciation and education of art deco, especially in the pacific northwest. Our activities center around preservation, education, history, and entertainment.
Our activities include information and action about preservation projects which support the preservation of buildings in the Pacific Northwest considered to be of the Art Deco Period.
Meetings are held every other month, and the programs vary from vintage films to speakers on a variety of topics, such as architecture, interior design, fashion, jewelry, movies, music, art and vintage transportation. Special events include tours of Art Deco locations, film showings and discussions of specific Art Deco styles. |
